Diesel Mechanic

Shift - 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available
Pay - $27- $39 per hour
Requirements
- Servicing of gasoline and diesel powered buses from basic maintenance and minor repairs to full vehicle service
- Diagnose mechanical defects and carries out a preventive maintenance program
- Service and maintain brakes, air compressors, fuel systems, ignitions, HVAC systems
- Service and maintain vehicle air conditioning units
- Inspects and repairs charter buses per DOT requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years Diesel Truck or Bus Experience
- Bus experience, International Truck/Bus preferred
- Must have own set of tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion in a timely manner
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance as attendance is an essential function of the position
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
