POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Home Health Aide / Personal Care Aide to provide quality in-home care to one of our clients on a 1:1 basis. This client is bed-bound and requires a caregiver who is experienced and fully comfortable providing bed-bound care, including incontinence care. The ability to deliver all aspects of care safely in a bed setting — with professionalism, patience, and an unwavering commitment to the client's dignity — is non-negotiable for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bed-bound care — all personal care and ADLs provided in bed or at the bedside
- Incontinence care — brief/pad changes, perineal hygiene, skin integrity maintenance
- Repositioning and turning — scheduled turns to prevent pressure sores
- Skin and pressure injury monitoring — check for redness/breakdown and report to office
- Full bed baths and sponge baths
- Dressing, grooming, oral hygiene at the bedside
- Feeding and fluid assistance in bed
- Safe transfers when applicable (bed to wheelchair, hoyer lift, or assistive equipment)
- Range of motion exercises as directed by care plan
- Light housekeeping of client's immediate environment
- Companionship and emotional support
- Accurate DHS time and task sheet documentation

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with personal care / ADLs — required
- Experience with bed-bound clients — required
- Experience with incontinence care — required
- Knowledge of pressure injury prevention and repositioning — required
- Comfortable with transfers and hoyer lift (or willing to train)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Must pass a background check
- Valid ID / authorized to work in the US
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain — we can assist)
Preferred (not required):
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification
- Hoyer lift experience
- Experience with Medicaid clients
