The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. This role focuses on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strong clinical judgment.
RNs actively involve patients and their families in the care process while fostering a supportive, professional environment aligned with organizational values of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

Assess patient health status, identifying actual and potential health concerns

Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based practices

Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes

Engage patients and families as active participants in care planning and delivery

Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality

Delegate and supervise care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP)

Promote a positive unit culture and contribute to a collaborative work environment

Uphold standards of patient advocacy, safety, and clinical excellence
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred at time of hire

Education Requirements:

RNs hired without a BSN must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire

Certification Requirements:
-
Professional nursing board certification preferred at hire
-
Required within 2 years of hire (or when eligible, if eligibility requires more than 2 years of experience)
