Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail. Duties
- Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning patient areas, laundry, and general sanitation
- Document patient observations, progress notes, and incident reports accurately for team communication and compliance purposes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, families, and other caregivers to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement for clients
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid procedures, and emergency response procedures during incidents or medical emergencies
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance
- Experience caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Familiarity with care equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident transfer devices preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward caregiving roles

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
