Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Association Management Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, and supporting financial reporting processes. Duties
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
- Conduct general ledger accounting activities, including month-end close procedures and financial statement preparation.
- Utilize industry specific software and excel to streamline financial operations.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and data analysis techniques for reporting purposes.
- Reconcile accounts on the balance sheet and general ledger to identify discrepancies and ensure proper account analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, corporate accounting practices and non-profit accounting preferred.
- Familiarity with industry specific CINC software systems
- Knowledge of working within association management industry or non-profit accounting environments is highly desirable.
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately; proficiency in Excel data analysis is essential.
- Experience with account reconciliation processes including general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
- Basic understanding of technical accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, and budgeting.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting processes while maintaining high accuracy standards.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
