American Traveler is hiring a Travel Endoscopy Tech with 2+ years of hospital experience and CFER certification for a 13-week assignment.
-
Work in a hospital Endoscopy unit with 4 procedure rooms and 9 pre/post care beds
-
Patient ratios of 1:1 during procedures and 1-3 for pre/post care
-
Unit staffed with 3 full-time Endo Techs and no unit secretary
-
Uses Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific equipment
-
Documentation via Expanse Provation system

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 8 hours per day
-
On-call coverage required weeknights from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call coverage

May float to main OR or Sterile Processing Department during low volume periods

Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy Tech experience in a hospital setting

Current BLS certification required
-
Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) certification required

License required if applicable

Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes, medivators, and leak testing procedures

Knowledge of colon, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscope, and EUS procedures

Assist with endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRX ablations, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS

Perform endoscope reprocessing duties

Work alongside a collaborative team with strong provider support

Hospital scrubs provided; closed-toe shoes required

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
