Certified Electrician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a certified Electrician with strong experience in power units, lighting fixtures, emergency wiring systems, LED lighting, dimming systems, and general electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities are included but not limited to:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and power units.
- Work with all types of lighting systems, especially LED lighting and dimming controls.
- Perform emergency wiring and repair work as needed.
- Complete troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks assigned in a timely manner.
- Communicate professionally and follow job instructions and deadlines.
- Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe conditions.
- Follow all safety rules, electrical codes, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and jobs completed.
- Light commercial and industrial electrical work is required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in electrical service work (residential and/or commercial preferred).
- Must hold an Electrical License and/or Certification.
- Strong knowledge of LED lighting systems, fixtures, dimmers, power units, and emergency wiring.
- Strong Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Field installation experience required.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Computer skills for tracking and job documentation.
- Good communication in English, both verbal and written
Physical Activities of the Position:
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
- Occasional stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching above shoulder level, and climbing.
