Job Summary
Bless This Mess Cleaning services is seeking reliable, detail-oriented house cleaners to join our team as independent contractors (1099). This role involves providing high-quality residential and occasional commerical cleaning services while maintaining professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. Contractors must be self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently or as a part of a small team. As a contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes and must provide proof of general liability insurance prior to starting and maintaing active coverage while working with us. This position is ideal for cleaners who take pride in their work, value flexibility, and are looking for consistent cleaning opportunities with a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently while adhering to established cleaning protocols.
- Conduct commercial cleaning in offices or public spaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and feedback promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to company standards to promote a healthy environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Experience in hotel cleaning or similar settings is advantageous.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
