As a Mechanical Designer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative project development and design solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Pay Range:$60000 - $90000
What's the Job?
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings based on project specifications and requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality
- Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering models and drawings
- Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to optimize solutions
- Support the testing and validation of mechanical components and assemblies
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or design
