Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute precise installations and repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments; perform electrical troubleshooting as needed.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and ammonia refrigeration systems where applicable.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, incident logs, and ensure all asset protection documentation is accurate.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to various job sites.
- Collaborate with team members on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) projects to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all maintenance activities to uphold a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base in HVAC systems.
- Service technician experience in residential or commercial property maintenance environments.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and repairs.
- Field service experience involving air conditioning units and overall property maintenance tasks.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanic experience is highly desirable; familiarity with HVAC/R standards is a plus.
