Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient, safe, and clean operation of our production and retail facilities.
Job Requirements:

Perform maintenance on packaging machines
-
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

Collaborate with production and Maintenance teams to improve line efficiency and performance.
-
Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation.
-
Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to work flexible hours, or overtime if necessary.

At least 21 years of age

Preferred Experience:

Working knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatics, and their industrial applications

General carpentry skills
Responsibilities:

Ability to read, analyze, understand and trouble shoot manuals and schematics
-
Able to manage preventive maintenance, as well as day to day operations of commercial buildings including but not limited to:
-
Replacing light bulbs
-
Shoveling snow
-
Equipment repair
-
Chaperone contractors
-
Miscellaneous minor building repairs
-
Other miscellaneous routine maintenance tasks
-
Spot cleaning and painting as needed to maintain a clean and professional facility

Assist with installations and assembly as needed in Fitchburg and occasionally in Garden Remedies’ dispensaries

Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to work with and negotiate with vendors

Flexibility within multiple work environments

Performs preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Working knowledge of either HVAC, Electrical, Pneumatics, and their commercial application strongly desired

Fluency in computers and applicable programs
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
21 years of age or older
