You will collaborate with a team of talented individuals to increase brand recognition and multimedia traffic, acquire, and retain customers, and help guide our marketing strategy. You will develop and manage a media budget to support goals and allow experimentation and optimization within a goal-driven environment that focuses on creativity, curiosity, and teamwork.
Create Your Path: The Work You'll Do:
- Strategy & Analysis:
- Create and drive a comprehensive media strategy and budget anchored in print, digital advertising, social media, and events; evaluate mix of spend across channels and time periods targeting key KPIs for efficiency that support the goals of the SMSC's brands.
- Ensure the campaign rollout is in line with our marketing strategy and a key driver to achieve our business and marketing KPIs.
- Measure the impact of our paid media on the overall marketing efforts by analyzing and reporting metrics for marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs with emphasis on campaign goals/KPIs.
- Manage and be on top of our media budget, making sure we invest smartly and efficiently.
- Leverage current media trends, market research, and analytics to track, measure, analyze, and report the impact of campaigns on department goals. Prepare reports and recommendations based on results.
- Monitors industry for best practices, seeks new technologies, and recommends strategies to drive ROI on paid media investments.
- Content & Creative:
- Strategize and launch engaging branded content and campaigns for assigned enterprises and departments in collaboration graphic design, communications, and multimedia teams.
- Plan and coordinate social media campaigns, organic and paid, for 25+ unique accounts and spearhead day-to-day community management.
- Coordinate marketing creative, collateral & materials for all channels including print, radio, online and digital advertising efforts including but not limited to brand websites, paid search campaigns, digital advertising, social media, and email marketing.
- Ensure consistency of messages across multiple networks.
- Budget & Activation:
- Develop and manage multifaceted partner budgets and planning and activation calendar.
- Ensure budget supports each enterprises strategy and prioritizes spend based upon targeted goals and objectives
- Utilize data on target markets, competitive approach, and market behavior to maximize performance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of marketing and/or advertising experience.
- 2+ year of social media experience preferably with working knowledge of Sprout Social, Hootsuite or other social media management platform.
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with multiple internal teams and stakeholders as well as external partners to create concepts and campaigns.
- High level knowledge of digital, print, and radio capabilities while understanding how to digest complex data and analytics to report it in a clear and concise manner.
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record in delivering and developing quality, well-conceived and optimized media plans.
- Thrives in a highly collaborative environment, prioritizing and executing tasks and projects in a fast-paced atmosphere, demonstrating a positive attitude and adaptability in responding to change.
- Ability to move fluidly between the 30,000-foot view – operating at the strategic level and ideating – and also at the 3 foot – driving tactics, execution and delivering output.
