Capital Disaster Solutions is seeking a highly organized, safety‑driven Superintendent to oversee daily field operations for mitigation and construction projects. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project scope while maintaining strong communication with the Project Manager and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Supervision & Field Oversight
- Supervise daily field operations and ensure work aligns with project scope and schedule.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols; ensure all crews are properly trained and equipped.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve issues, maintain timelines, and manage scope supplements.
- Provide daily updates through Proven Jobs Notes and submit weekly material requests.
- Document damages using thermal cameras, moisture meters, and Encircle—including source photos and hydro data.
- Track and document all project progress in Encircle.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor technicians for quality, efficiency, and adherence to scope.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure consistent quality control.
- Identify training needs and performance gaps; report metrics to Project Manager and management.
- Ensure subcontractors have certified safety vests and all staff clock in/out via mobile app.
Communication & Client Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field crews, subcontractors, and technicians.
- Resolve conflicts and maintain clear communication between teams and clients.
- Uphold company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction field supervision preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
- Ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with Encircle, moisture meters, thermal cameras, and job‑tracking software (Proven Jobs) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.
