Project Sanctuary, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that has served individuals experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault since the late 1970s. Over 2,000 individuals are served each year by Project Sanctuary at our services sites throughout Mendocino County, CA.

Job position description:
This single position job classification serves as the Chief Executive Office for the agency, overseeing the finances, operations, programs, services and management of Project Sanctuary. The Executive Director represents the agency with the community and funding sources and serves as its key spokesperson. The Executive Director supervises the management and administrative staff, and reports to the Board of Directors.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried, management position. Salary is based on credentials, experience and qualifications and within an established range (Grade E - $70,304 to $126,256 annually). Project Sanctuary offers a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plan, medical, dental and vision care, sick leave, vacation, and 14 paid holidays.
Desired start date: December 1, 2026, but open until filled.
Pay: $70,304.00 - $126,256.00 per year
