Lead the Team That Keeps Manufacturing Moving
CFM Global is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our maintenance department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule & Availability Expectations
· This is a salaried leadership position supporting a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week manufacturing operation.
· Maintain visibility and engagement with employees on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
· Periodically work alternate schedules to support training, employee development, projects, and operational needs.
· Be available for after-hours calls and urgent maintenance situations when equipment failures impact production.
· Provide leadership and technical support during critical breakdowns and emergency repairs.
Safety Leadership & Regulatory Compliance
· Serve as a key leader for OSHA compliance and maintenance safety programs.
· Lead Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry programs.
· Function as a competent person capable of identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
· Conduct and facilitate LOTO and Confined Space training.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, machine guarding, electrical safety, and safe work practices.
Technical Expertise
· Knowledge of interlock systems, thermal oxidizers, control panel wiring, PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems – Is a plus!!
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
· Experience with conveyors, bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, motors, and pneumatic systems – Is a plus!!
Inventory Management & Procurement Leadership
· Manage maintenance inventory, spare parts, and critical equipment components.
· Source replacement parts quickly and accurately during planned and emergency maintenance situations.
· Understand the difference between routine purchasing and emergency procurement.
· Maintain vendor relationships and ensure parts availability.
Leadership Expectations
· Develop employees into skilled, capable maintenance professionals.
· Know the status of ongoing maintenance activities and projects at all times.
· Ensure maintenance requests are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
· Take ownership of mistakes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
· Lead by example and build a culture of accountability, communication, and reliability.
