Job Overview
Dry Out Tech LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our new Manassas, VA team. In this role, you will help restore residential and commercial properties affected by water, mold, or environmental damage. You’ll use professional-grade equipment and tools to perform restoration tasks efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality service to every client—helping rebuild not just properties, but peace of mind.
Key Duties
- Assess damaged properties to determine the scope of work needed.
- Perform water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Execute mold remediation following IICRC and safety guidelines.
- Conduct structural cleaning and light repairs as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job environment.

Experience & Skills
- Prior experience in restoration services, construction, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Familiar with water extraction and drying equipment.
- Experience in mold remediation or water damage restoration is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Must be eligible for coverage under company auto insurance.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
- IICRC Certifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) a plus.
Schedule & Availability
- Full-time position
- 8-hour shifts
- Nights and weekends as needed (emergency response rotation)
- Travel required
