SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for monitoring customs clearance for shipments, and communication with drivers daily regarding freight. Providing strong customer service and communicating any issues with all parties involved.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate data entry into company software and Google Docs
- Assist with other tasks in daily operation when requested
- Monitor customs clearance for departing shipments (1C, 1D, BG, etc…)
- Nominating shipments (1F) as required
- Communicate with drivers regarding inbound and outbound freight
- Provide customer service via phone call and email
- Effectively communicate any problems or delays to appropriate parties
SCHEDULE OPTIONS:
- 1st shift (9am -5:30pm)
- 2nd shift (5pm - 1:30am)
- 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience of warehouse data entry experience
- Freight forwarding background is a plus
- Familiar with CFS operation and 3PL Experience is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail Oriented
- Work well as part of a team and individually
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast – paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
