Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for a CMM Quality Inspector at a key service location in Walnut, CA. Candidates should be ideally have experience in designing quality standards, inspecting material, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance quality standards
- Maintain quality control systems
- Inspecting parts to ensure quality specifications are met
- Work with team to develop and implement controls and improvements
- Investigating and troubleshooting product issues
- To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility
Skills
- 5+ years of experience with hands on CMM Inspection Machines
- Knowledge of Calypso software for quality analysis a plus
- High proficiency in computer technology and system operations
- Knowledge of Aerospace standards a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of AS9100 and other Quality System requirements
- Knowledge of GD&T symbols a plus
- Knowledge of FAI (inspection and reporting)
