Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement process improvements using lean management principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safety and proper usage.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques; conduct regular audits.
- Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and internal teams to ensure timely distribution.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities.
- Manage team performance through effective communication, training, scheduling, and motivation to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution centers or e-commerce environments.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems such as AS400, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to operate or oversee the operation of mechanical equipment like forklifts and heavy lifting tools safely.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with experience in team leadership and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards, lean management practices, and logistics coordination.
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment operation is a plus.
