Position Overview
Responsible for developing CNC programs with CAM software, generating related tool list, set-up sheets, and related drawings.
Essential Job Functions
· Plans machining by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
· Develops computer numerical control machine programs with the help of CAM software (GibbsCAM).
· Creates set-up sheets and work instructions for parts.
· Works in a safe manner and always observes plant safety rules and regulations.
· Aware of all Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
· Troubleshoot problems during production.
· Assist in producing the 1st part and make any corrections required to reach approval.
· Designs fixtures and tooling that support the selected process.
· Select, purchase, and inventory cutters and items required for production.

Required Qualifications
· 5 years’ experience in programming.
· Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
· Must be mechanically inclined.
· Ability to trouble shoot problems with programs and machines
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Desirable Qualifications
· Ability to operate CNC machines such as lathes and milling in a manufacturing environment.
· Technical Degree.
Ability to operate a forklift

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
