Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Service/Install Scheduler & Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our customers and our field technicians, ensuring that installations and service calls are scheduled efficiently and our office operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling: Coordinate and maintain the daily schedule for service technicians and installation teams, ensuring optimal travel routes and time management.
- Customer Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails, confirm appointments, and provide status updates to clients with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate customer records and service logs in our company database and Google Docs/Sheets.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general clerical tasks, including filing, processing paperwork, and managing office supplies.
- Problem Solving: Adjust schedules in real-time to account for weather, cancellations, or emergency service requests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or scheduling role, ideally in a service-based industry.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets and experience with a database.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Position Type: Part-Time to start with opportunity to go full-time
- Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Pay: Up to $17 per hour dependent on experience.
- Location: Mason, Michigan / in person.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
