Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer / IAM Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Okta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, integrating, and supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions while ensuring secure authentication, identity governance, and access management across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Okta Identity Cloud and related IAM solutions.
- Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), lifecycle management, and user provisioning.
- Integrate enterprise and SaaS applications using SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, and APIs.
- Configure access policies, RBAC, workflows, and identity governance processes.
- Troubleshoot authentication, provisioning, and access-related issues.
- Support IAM security, compliance, audits, and access certification activities.
- Automate IAM processes and participate in platform upgrades and enhancements.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams on IAM initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 8–10 years of IAM experience, out of which atleast 5 years of experience with Okta is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Okta (mandatory).
- Experience with SSO, MFA, IAM, RBAC, Identity Lifecycle Management, and User Provisioning.
- Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, LDAP, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Good understanding of Identity Governance (IGA), PAM, and IAM security best practices.
- Experience integrating enterprise and cloud applications with Okta.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Okta Workflows, Okta Identity Governance (OIG), or Okta Privileged Access.
- Experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, or similar IAM/PAM platforms.
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs.
- Okta or IAM certifications are a plus.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Candidates must have hands-on Okta implementation or administration experience. Generic IAM, Active Directory, or IAM Engineers without Okta experience will not be considered.
- Good understanding of security governance, access controls, risk management, and compliance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles five days per week - Must be already located in Los Angeles Metro Area or be willing to relocate before starting the job.
Pay: $35.53 - $55.00 per hour
