Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Plant Monitor for a direct hire opportunity in the 85121 area. This role supports quality assurance operations in an agriculture, industrial, warehouse, and lab environment, with a focus on cottonseed quality monitoring, truck sampling, and plant testing procedures.
The QA Plant Monitor is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, following standard procedures, and contributing to consistent product quality. This opportunity offers a stable work environment, provided PPE, and the chance to work with a supportive team focused on safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct plant monitoring tests on raw and processed cottonseed to verify quality standards.
- Perform truck sampling, sample de-linting, pH testing, bushel weights, seed counts, tare analysis, and related quality checks.
- Inspect packaged finished product to confirm standards are met and report any quality deviations.
- Enter quality data accurately into plant monitoring spreadsheets and maintain required documentation.
- Assist with variety cleanouts, equipment checks, scale calibration, and downtime coding.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures while working near industrial equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Flexibility required to cover 2nd shift as needed, Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
- PPE is required and provided, including safety glasses, coveralls, gloves, safety boots, and hardhat.
