Overview
We are seeking 2 more motivated and skilled Garage Door Technicians to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of garage doors and related hardware. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ garage systems operate smoothly, safely, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and techniques, contribute to high-quality craftsmanship, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This position is commission based (1099) potential to earn 50,000.00-100,000.00 per year.
Duties
- Install new garage doors, including hanging doors, setting frames, and securing hardware using hand tools and power tools
- Perform repairs on malfunctioning garage doors, including replacing springs, cables, rollers, and tracks
- Conduct routine maintenance such as lubrication, adjustments, and inspections to ensure optimal operation
- Handle heavy lifting safely while transporting and positioning large door sections or hardware components
Qualifications
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches), power tools (e.g., drills, saws)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in door systems or similar hardware setups
- Physical strength to perform heavy lifting tasks safely throughout the workday
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to garage door openers or fixtures is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between job sites as needed
