With CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and Sheet Metal Fabrication, Excel is a full-fabrication machine shop specializing in the manufacturing of precision parts for the national defense, aerospace, transportation, and telecommunications industries.
Located on the outskirts of Baltimore, just minutes from I-95 and MD-295, Excel is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist and is offering top-pay. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical and Horizontal 3 and 4-axis CNC Mills.
Duties/Preferred Experience:
· Complete set-ups for multi-axis CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines.
· Must be able to read blueprints, work orders and machining instructions to produce precision parts with tolerances around +/- .002”.
· Must be able to verify quality and acceptability of work performed within inspection systems.
· Must be able to meet daily job schedules in a fast-paced job shop environment with minimal supervision.
