We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in a fine dining environment while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
- Provide detailed menu information, including specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Participate in food preparation as needed to support the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with an ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
