Job Description:
Holy Cross Catholic School is accepting applications for a part time MusicTeacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The teaching schedule would be for 2.5 days a week.
The music teacher is responsible for:
Music Liturgy for the School Masses, including coordinating with the pastor and principal for hymns, parts of Mass, and working with the student choir and students, preparing them for hymns to be sung
The music teacher will coordinate with the pastor, principal and school personnel for music of the events and student preparation for performing music for the School Annual musical celebratory events:
Candle Light (Christmas Celebration)
Holy Cross Spring Show
May Procession
Qualifications:
PA Teaching Certification
Bachelor's Degree in Music
Strong musical abilities and able to lead and perform at school events
Practicing Catholic
If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Children” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
