American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Wound/Ostomy Care position requiring 2 years of recent experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Hospital-based Wound Care unit

Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
No weekend or holiday shifts required

Active DC RN license in hand required

BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the last 7 years required

At least 1 previous travel assignment required for consideration

Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the previous 3 years

Provide wound and ostomy nursing care to patients within a hospital setting

Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate

No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; a maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract

Manager interviews are not guaranteed and travelers must be comfortable proceeding without one

Former MedStar employees must have been separated from employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position given the travel experience requirement
