Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LED Light Assembler/Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting LED lighting products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes. Responsibilities
- Assemble LED lighting products using surface mount technology, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to accurately build and troubleshoot electrical panels and wiring.
- Use calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to verify component placement, electrical continuity, and product specifications.
- Solder surface-mount components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following IPC 610 standards for quality assurance.
- Build and test electrical panels, ensuring proper wiring, component placement, and compliance with schematics.
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical components and electrical circuits using engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify issues quickly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assembly processes, test results, and inspection reports to ensure traceability and quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or electronics assembly with a strong understanding of PCB assembly, soldering (IPC 610), electrical wiring, and schematic reading.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), mechanical knowledge, and machining processes.
- Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, power tools, and other mechanical hand tools effectively.
- Experience working with electro-mechanical components in a manufacturing setting; electrical experience is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret schematics and resolve engineering issues efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions while maintaining safety standards.
