What You’ll Do:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
- Work 1:1 or with small groups, following guidance from teachers and designated school staff
- Help with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions throughout the school day
- Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) where required
- Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- TB test required per school district guidelines
- Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances before starting
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrates patience, reliability, and a team-first approach
