Jameson Electric is a premier electrical contracting company specializing in high-end residential, commercial, and marina projects. We are seeking a true professional to join our growing team. This is a role for a seasoned electrician who is a natural problem solver, a clear communicator, and a leader capable of executing complex projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
- Residential & Commercial Service Calls: Independently manage a daily route of service requests, ranging from simple device replacements to complex power restoration and diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Comprehensive Diagnostics: Utilize advanced testing equipment to identify faults in circuitry, control wiring, and specialized systems (Marinas/Generators) with minimal supervision. You must be well-versed in the NEC code book and able to reference it to solve on-site challenges independently.
- Project Leadership: Act as a seasoned lead/foreman, managing crews and coordinating directly with high-end clients and contractors.
- Field Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and "on-the-tool" training for junior technicians or helpers assigned to your service van.
- Exceptional Communication: Maintain professional, clear, and proactive communication with clients and contractors at every step of the project.
- Digital Workflow Management: Use Jobber and Google Drive in the field to track time, document "before and after" photos, notes, and finalize material lists for accurate invoicing.
- Process Driven: Follow established company instructions and the daily workflow for every job to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Ensure every job meets Jameson Electric’s high standards and OSHA safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 3+ years specifically as a seasoned Lead or Foreman Electrician (4+ years total electrical experience required).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential/commercial service calls, control wiring, and conduit bending.
- Specialties: Experience with Marina electrical (shore power, boat lifts, dock lighting) and Standby Generator installs (Generac certification preferred).
- Documentation: Proficient in using digital tools (Jobber, Google programs) for scheduling and material lists.
- Licensing: An active Electrical License is preferred but not required. Valid FL Driver’s License with a clean record is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in the field (attics, crawl spaces, and tall ladders).
- Ability to lift/push up to 50lbs.
- Must reside within 45 minutes of Stuart, FL. (Jupiter, Port St. Lucie, Palm City, Stuart, Hobe Sound, Palm Beach Gardens)
