Overview
Join our excavation team as a CDL Driver and Pipe Fitting Laborer, where your skills will drive essential infrastructure projects forward! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy equipment, transport materials safely, and assist in installing sewer, water line and other underground systems. Your expertise will help shape the backbone of community water, sewer, stormwater, and utility infrastructure. Duties
- Safely transport heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators, and assist with construction activities.
- Transport pipe materials and construction equipment to and from job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with pipe installation tasks such as sewer line installation, septic tank / leach field installation, utility trenching, and underground utilities.
- Use shovel and hand tools to ensure precise pipe alignment and secure connections for sanitary drainage systems and water supply systems.
- Perform concrete finishing, concrete forming, and pipeline work for wastewater systems and stormwater management projects.
- Follow federal construction safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
Skills
- Proven experience operating and driving dump trucks and towing equipment.
- Skilled in pipe fitting tasks including, sewer line installation, utility trenching, and underground utilities installation.
- Familiarity with septic tank and leach field systems a plus!
- Knowledge of wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, sanitary sewers, and water supply systems.
- Competence in welding, concrete finishing, concrete forming, and using hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with utility locating techniques and safety regulations governing federal construction sites.
- Strong understanding of construction site experience with emphasis on safety protocol adherence during trenching and pipeline installation.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
