Heart of the House is hiring an experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer for our Tucson team. This role is responsible for repairs, preventative maintenance, and keeping the hotel safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for guests and staff.

What You'll Do
- Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, structural, grounds, parking, and sidewalk systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, staff, and management per brand standards
- Repair or replace interior fixtures and furnishings as needed
- Oversee outside contractors to ensure work meets lease, service contract, and warranty requirements
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and equipment records per local, state, and brand standards
- Run preventative maintenance and energy conservation programs using PM Works software
- Complete all scheduled (quarterly, semi-annual, annual) PM tasks on time and to standard
- Maintain emergency equipment and support emergency procedures for guest and staff safety
- Keep maintenance areas, grounds, rooftops, and parking lots clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Maintain pool and hot tub systems per Department of Health and brand standards
- Take on additional projects as assigned
What You Bring
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Hands-on plumbing experience: installation, repair, and maintenance of fixtures and piping
- Experience troubleshooting ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling systems
- Comfort with mechanical equipment used in building operations
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling, storage, and disposal
- Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Availability for AM/PM shifts, including weekends
- Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-first attitude
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to meet deadlines
