About Threshold Coaches
At Threshold Coaches, we support students with ADHD through every stage of their high school and college experience. Our research-based coaching helps students:
- Build and utilize support structures within high school and college settings.
- Develop the academic and social skills necessary for both their high school foundation and a successful transition into and through college.
- Discover personal strengths and build compensatory mechanisms to manage ADHD-related challenges.
Job Description
- Provide 1:1 and small group coaching using our research-based methodology to support high school and college students in building executive function skills so that they can set actionable goals, maintain emotional regulation, and implement daily strategies for success.
- Coaching occurs in-person at public locations (e.g., libraries) in Spokane.
- Collaborate with students to improve organization, planning, prioritization, self-advocacy, and time management to promote long-term academic and emotional well-being.
- Manage parent communication through intake sessions and regular family check-ins.
Note: We believe that a good Executive Function Coach is always considering the larger picture of high school and college life, knowing that academics are profoundly impacted by health in the mental, physical, and social realms. In this position, you will be actively checking in on these realms in addition to academics.
