Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to uphold safety standards in line with food industry regulations
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support team members by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with host/hostess duties when needed
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Strong communication skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Experience in sales techniques including upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn about menu items is essential
