We are looking for an experienced Chef/Kitchen Manager who excels in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who actively looks for ways to improve operations, build sales, streamline processes, and improve cost margins on a daily basis. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, all operations of the kitchen on a daily basis. This is to include managing of food preparation, food and supply purchasing, food and labor costs, and ensuring that product presentation, execution, timing and quality of food exceeds expectations. Must have the ability to hire, train, and schedule staff as well as maintain the cleanliness and organization of all BOH operations. Experience with standard reporting and word processing software will be required for this position, as well as the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day culinary operations and activities of the facility
- Maintain operational control of purchasing, receiving, and inventory of all kitchen items
- Monitor performance of staff and ensure all procedures are completed to the department standards
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in high volume full service or quality dining restaurant.
- Candidate must excel at guest and employee satisfaction
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Proven leadership skill with the ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff
- Event/Banquet experience a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
