The Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated pre-licensed mental health therapist, a post-graduate clinician working toward LPC or LPCC licensure to join our team under the supervision of our approved LPCC supervisor. You'll build your caseload with support, gain hands-on clinical experience, and work with clients both in-person at our Bloomington office and via telehealth.
In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and mental health counseling to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, while receiving structured clinical supervision toward full licensure. Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling or a related mental health field
- Working toward LPC or LPCC licensure in Minnesota
- Willingness to participate in required individual and/or group clinical supervision
- Strong clinical skills and a client-centered approach
- Reliable internet connection and a private, confidential space for telehealth sessions
- Ability to maintain timely documentation
- Familiarity with psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and behavioral therapy
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation
- Exposure to intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations within outpatient or inpatient settings
- Basic skills in crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and electronic health record systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong communication skills for client engagement, case management, and interdisciplinary teamwork
Preferred
- Prior practicum, internship, or field placement experience
- A niche or emerging area of clinical interest
