Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, talented and detail-oriented Seamstress/Sample Maker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Construct garments and samples from detailed patterns and technical specifications using various sewing techniques.
- Operate sewing machines efficiently, ensuring precision and consistency across all pieces.
- Interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and sample instructions to produce accurate prototypes.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to troubleshoot fit issues and refine garment details.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in developing new sample styles by applying garment construction best practices.
- Ensure timely completion of samples while adhering to quality control protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing, with a strong portfolio of completed projects or samples.
- Proficiency with various sewing machines and techniques used in apparel manufacturing.
- Knowledge of pattern reading, fabric handling, and finishing techniques.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a production setting.
- Familiarity with sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Join us to craft innovative fashion pieces that inspire! Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
