Typical Requirements for the Position
No experience necessary. We will train you.
Cell phone
Valid driver’s license without any recent DUI convictions.
No current or recent drug use.
Able to work outside during the Texas summer and winter.
Able to lift 30 lbs.
Our days begin at 7:00 AM. Most days end by 4:30 PM, sometimes earlier, especially in extreme weather.
Starting pay is $17/hour, depending on any former experience, education and career objectives.
Typical Job Responsibilities
Pruning tree branches from the ground.
Cleaning up debris using rakes and blowers.
Placing debris into chippers.
Driving large trucks with trailers.
Planting trees
Using mechanical tools such as pole saws and saws.
Using power tools such as chainsaws, blowers, and air compressors.
Operating large machinery such as chippers and skid steers
Learning new techniques, safety protocols and tree care practices on a daily basis.
Attending lectures and training throughout the year on various tree care techniques and industry standards.
Learning to identify tree diseases and pest problems common to North Texas.
Acquiring training that can lead to ISA Arborist Certification.
