Desired Qualifications:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification (fully approved or temporary)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations within school settings
- Solid understanding of special education law, including MARSE and IDEA guidelines
- Proficiency with test administration, data interpretation, and compliance reporting
- Strong skills in collaborative teamwork with educators, support staff, and families
- Familiarity supporting MTSS, PBIS, and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, ensuring all procedures meet MARSE and IDEA compliance
- Administer and interpret a range of standardized and informal assessments to determine students’ needs and eligibility for services
- Contribute to IEP meetings, supporting the development of effective, data-driven goals, accommodations, and behavior plans
- Deliver timely, clear, and compliant evaluation reports
- Offer consultative and direct psychological services to students as needed
- Actively participate in MTSS and PBIS initiatives, helping with data-based decision making to improve student outcomes
