Position Overview
We are seeking motivated Epoxy Flooring Technicians to join our installation team. This role requires frequent travel, sometimes for extended periods of time. The role also involves the preparation and installation of epoxy flooring systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare concrete substrates (grinding, shot blasting, scarifying, patching, and repairs).
- Mix and apply epoxy, urethane, and specialty flooring systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install cove base, line striping, and decorative broadcast systems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Communicate with foremen, supervisors, and project managers regarding progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Previous flooring installation experience (epoxy, polished concrete, coatings) preferred, but not required—willing to train the right candidate.
- General construction or concrete experience a plus.
- Ability to lift 55+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with hand tools, grinders, and other equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects (per diem provided).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
