Key Details:
- Contract assignment beginning ASAP through May 21, 2027
- Weekly schedule of 20-25 hours, Monday through Friday
- Students served: Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Guaranteed hours, ensuring financial consistency
- Provide both direct and indirect services during contracted hours
- No additional non-therapy duties (such as bus duty or parent pick-up)
- Travel therapists are eligible for stipends
Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Texas
- Experience with school-aged children, preferably across K-8th grade levels
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
- Ability to provide both in-person and consultative speech therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
- Reliable, organized, and committed to fostering student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with supervising SLP and school staff to support students’ communication goals
- Participate in required meetings and trainings related to speech services
- Support an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
