American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist First Assist with at least 18 months of recent CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills for a hospital operating room position.

Hospital-based Operating Room unit specializing in cardiovascular procedures
-
Cardiac and vascular surgical caseload including complex level 3 and 4 procedures

AM shift schedule with 10-hour shifts

13-week assignment length

Minimum of 18 months full-time CVOR experience of similar acuity within the last 3 years

Must be a Certified CVOR First Assist

Proficiency with level 3 and 4 cardiac and vascular procedures required

Strong endovascular experience required

License required if applicable

Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Serve as First Assist supporting cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures

Assist with cannulation, aorta cases, and endovascular procedures using wires
-
Experience with both adult and congenital cardiac cases is relevant to this role

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered

Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility

RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
