Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Production Technician | Degrease to join our production team in a precision metal finishing environment. In this role, you will prepare metal components for finishing by operating degreasing equipment and ensuring parts are thoroughly cleaned prior to additional processing. The ideal candidate has a stable work history, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate degreasing equipment to clean and prepare metal components for finishing processes.
- Load and unload parts safely while following production schedules and work instructions.
- Inspect parts before and after the degreasing process to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Utilize basic computer systems to review work orders and record production information accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Monitor equipment performance and notify supervisors of any operational concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Stable work history is required.
- Ability to read, write, speak clearly, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-focused.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of production materials.
- Exposure to cleaning agents, industrial equipment, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
