Experienced Line Cook / Kitchen Team Member
The Allies Pub – Downtown Chico
We are looking for an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team at The Allies Pub. This position includes both line cooking during pub hours and prep work helping produce our house-made bulk food items.
We’re seeking someone dependable, hardworking, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Pay & Schedule
- Starting pay: $16.90/hour + pooled employee tips
- Potential pay increases after a 90-day probationary period based on performance and responsibilities taken on
- Opportunity to start immediately if desired
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Part-time or full-time depending on availability and experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items during service
- Assist with prep and batch production
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Stock and organize kitchen stations
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support overall kitchen operations and closing duties
Qualifications
- Previous line cook and/or prep cook experience required
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- California Food Handler Card preferred (or willingness to obtain)
