Seeking reliable employees with a positive attitude for our mattress recycling technician to help with our important mission of diverting waste from the environment. Pay will be based on experience. We are a growing company and you can grow with us! Duties include, but not limited to:
- Disassemble various materials from recycled mattresses by hand with the assistance of tools
- Separating materials and sorting into proper locations
- Will move materials and mattresses around warehouse using pallet jacks and/or forklift
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers
- Bailing of mattress materials
- Shearing metal from wooden box springs
- Assists with other tasks around the warehouse- cross training in other areas as directed
- Responsible for housekeeping in work area
- Other duties to be assigned as necessary
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand for extended periods of time
- Exposure to conditions such as, but not limited to: Noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures

- Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully empowered team member, to achieve organization wide goal of zero incidents
- Take direction and perform tasks within specified time frames and meet quotes in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co workers, and other personnel
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area for safe operation
- Have excellent attendance and punctuality, as your job is dependent on attendance
- Desire to work hard and improve job skills
- Responsibilities:
- - Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials- Operate power tools and hand tools- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times- Operate forklift to transport materials as needed
- Skills:
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures
- Forklift certification is a plus
