Midland Medical Lodge is hiring. We have full-time openings for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) at our 125-bed facility. Shifts follow a predictable flow. Our team maintains fully stocked utility rooms so you can focus directly on clinical tasks instead of hunting down supplies.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Pay Rate: LVN starting rate is $30/hr. RN starting rate is $35/hr. Final rates scale upward depending upon individual clinical experience.
- Schedule: Full-time rotating schedules. Shifts run 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am and provide every other weekend off.

Responsibilities
- Administer scheduled medications, injections, and specialized treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and resident care plans.
- Conduct clear, comprehensive shift-to-shift reports to ensure smooth floor transitions and continuity of clinical care.
- Monitor resident vital signs and conduct regular assessments to detect, document, and report subtle changes in clinical condition.
- Direct and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with their daily care assignments and safety protocols on the floor.
- Complete accurate, real-time documentation in the electronic health record system to maintain compliant and precise charts.
- Manage complex wound care, dressing changes, and skin integrity protocols as prescribed.
- Coordinate directly with attending physicians, pharmacies, and families regarding care plan adjustments or acute changes in health.
Qualifications
- Valid, unencumbered Texas RN or LVN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for SNFs).
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
