The HR Partner is responsible for partnering with department managers and administrative staff to provide guidance, advice and solutions on human capital management (HCM) related matters under the direction of the HR Manager. This position will assist in addressing HCM areas and services including, but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, compensation, performance reviews management, and general Workday processes.
Job Duties:
- Establish and build rapport with the department’s management and administrative staff to deliver solutions throughout the employee lifecycle in accordance with HR best practices
- Provide assistance with Workday technical support and make recommendations to appropriate HR Manager for resolutions to Workday issues and recommend training to improve operations
- Provide periodic reports on recruitment processes including but not limited to the number of job requisitions, length of posting, and status of requisitions
- Ensure business practices are in accordance with UADA and UA System policies and procedures and federal and state laws
- Assist department with the processing of compensation changes
- Assist departments with writing and editing positions and creating job requisitions
- Assist in creating advertisements for positions
- Screen applications for minimum qualifications
- Manage the HR social media accounts which include advertising job vacancies
- Assist NRA employees with the hiring and onboarding process as assigned
- Provide general assistance to applicants and employees, as needed
- Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as requested
- Assist with the delivery of formal and informal HCM training/presentations, including group and one on one training
- Assist HR Managers with coordinating annual performance evaluation process
- Assist HR Manager and employees with proof of prior services and career service
- Stay abreast of new trends and advancements in the human resources field
- Assist HR Managers with Workday troubleshooting
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field from an accredited university of higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of human resources experience
- Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) experience
- Experience working in Higher Education
