Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Control Analyst to join our construction management team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing project schedules, cost controls, and overall project financial performance. Duties
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project financials and schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling software to ensure timely project delivery.
- Analyze project data through Excel data analysis techniques to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to coordinate construction plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs with HeavyBid and other construction estimating tools, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and civil engineering project management tools for document control and communication.
- Support contract administration by reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope of work documentation.
- Conduct regular analysis of project performance metrics to provide actionable insights for project teams.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports, schedule updates, and cost forecasts for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocols on construction sites.
- Facilitate effective communication across all project stakeholders through comprehensive documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction financial management with a focus on project scheduling and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, construction plans, contracts, and scheduling software tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel for trend analysis and reporting purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through time management techniques.
- Familiarity with construction industry standards related to safety, quality assurance, and project documentation.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams including contractors, engineers, and clients.
