Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within educational or school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Document progress and maintain thorough, compliant records
- Consult and provide training to school staff and families on strategies for supporting student communication
